Competitions

Win £100:Visitors registering online for email updates between the 01/02/09 and 04/05/09 will be eligible for entry into a prize draw to win £100. Email addresses must be valid and personal. prize winners will be announced on the website before the 31/05/09. The winner will be sent a cheque in the post after the draw. Win £300:Visitors completing in full, the questionnaire either at the show or online between the 01/02/09 and 29/05/09 will be eligible for entry into a prize draw to win £300. All information must be valid and accurate. prize winners will be announced on the website before the 31/05/09. The winner will be sent a cheque in the post after the draw. Photography: Entry fee: £3.00 (£2.50 for two or more entries) Closing date: April 10th 2009. Theme: Rural Life Age groups: 18yrs and under, Over 18yrs.  Classes: 1) Animals, 2) Plants  3) Portrait  Championship Prizes: 1st £100, 2nd £50, 3rd £25   Peoples' Choice: £50  Rules: A 6"x8" hard copy of each entry must be sent to the show office. If able a copy must also be sent via email to: info@leicestershireshow.co.uk. Enclose the name, address, telephone number and email of entrant with monies due, by the closing date. Photos must be the entrants own work and must not be edited using any computer programme or software. Entries will be judged by a panel and 1st – 4th rosettes awarded in each category for both sections. All entries will be kept anonymous. In the event that one entrant is awarded two monetary prizes, only the highest monetary award will be paid out. The 24 finalists will then be put forward for the championship prizes. The Peoples' Choice will be judged over the 3rd and 4th May by the visitors to the Leicestershire County Show and website. Winners for both the Championship and the  Peoples' Choice to be announced on the 4th May 2009. Rosettes for the 24 finalists will be handed out on the 4th May 2009 at 5pm. Finalists will forfeit their rosettes of they are not present at the show. Prize money will be sent out after the show by May the 31st 2009. No prize money will be handed out at the show. By entering the competition you agree to allow the Leicestershire Agricultural Society to reproduce the images however they wish. The photographer will retain the copy write.

We will not sell or rent your information to anyone, unless we have your permission. We may forward you details of offers we think may be of interest to you.

Site Hire

Terms and conditions relating to hire of the Showground will be contained within your contract.

Trade Stands

Completing the form and returning it to the Show Office will assume that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions which are outlined in the document attached.

Ticket Sales

Free child tickets are valid when a full priced adult ticket is purchased between the 1st March 2009 and the 17th April 2009 only. Maximum 2 child tickets per adult ticket. Tickets can be purchase via the website or over the phone.
